PokéSpot only works when collectors trust each other's reports. These guidelines keep the community useful and honest. Breaking them can lead to rate limits, removed reports, or account suspension.

Report honestly

Only report stock you've actually seen, at the store and time you saw it. Don't guess, don't repost old sightings, and don't invent drops. Accurate reports help everyone; fake ones send collectors on wasted trips.

Use real photos

If you add a photo, it should be your own and from the actual sighting. Don't reuse stock images or photos from other posts. Don't include other people, license plates, or personal information in your shots.

Keep it current

If a drop is gone, mark it gone. If quantity changed, update it. Use "Still there" only when you've genuinely confirmed it. Keeping reports fresh is the most valuable thing you can do.

No spam or manipulation

Don't flood the feed with duplicate reports, repeatedly confirm your own posts, or try to game reputation and badges. One genuine report beats ten noisy ones.

Be respectful

Treat other collectors well. No harassment, hate, or abuse. PokéSpot is for the hobby — keep it friendly and local.

Stay on topic

PokéSpot is for Pokémon TCG restock sightings. Keep reports relevant to that.

Flag problems

See a fake, wrong, or inappropriate report? Use the "Report suspicious sighting" option so it can be reviewed. Don't retaliate — just flag it.
